Our world is heading to a new era where everything will change, from the way we grow our children, from the way we learn and from the things that we will do. I am referring here to what will be the next step in technology and that is that androids will so be part of our lives or probably we can say that androids are already part of some people’s lives.
There are humanoids androids that look exactly like human been and that are set to do certain activities exactly like human been. They have 3D shape and human like dimensions. Until now the robots that we were used to where those that were doing one particular activity in the kitchen or those robots that are in the factories and which are repeating the same action over and over.But the future of robots reserves them something more. Already there are those robots that look like people. They are called androids humanoids and which are doing some activities that resembles the ones of real people. The Japanese are those that are very much into this industry and they have created so far a number of examples that are in time more and more likely to humans.Some of these androids have the same dimensions of real body and they are also respecting the proportions. They imitate even the skin with the help of silicon. The androids that were presented so far can even talk, laugh, cry or sing and they even have facial gestures. They look real.There were some experiments were an android was a substitute for a teacher.
The future of these androids is that they will be able to think for themselves and if we are using now to do certain activities that we don’t like doing then the androids will be part of our society and we will have to share our world with them.Technology is a good thing as long as it is used to serve human kind. When this technology will be lead to something more extreme then it is impossible for any of us to prevent what will happen or to even conceive what will happen and what will the consequences be.But until then I think that is enough to enjoy those androids that many of us have only seen on TV that are answering to some limited questions or which can laugh to our jokes and dance and sing for our entertainment.
